Former Pittsburgh Steeler Ryan Shazier
Ryan Shazier is a former professional football player, philanthropist, and advocate for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
Born on September 6, 1992, in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, Shazier played college football at Ohio State University, where he was a standout linebacker.
His exceptional athleticism and leadership earned him first-team All-Big Ten honors, and he later declared for the 2014 NFL Draft, where he was selected 15th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
